Life in the Fast Lane

Hello all,

It’s been a while. Life has been a roller coaster the last year and a half. I left my toxic job for a new one that feels significantly more stable and comfortable. I’ve even gotten promoted during my hiatus. In tandem with the tumultuous onslaught of life, I have unfortunately neglected my writing. This is not to say, however, that I’ve forgotten it or have given up on it, but I have been essentially taking an extended break from it. I am eager to get back to it and to continue with not only my first novel, but other projects as well. There are lots of ideas brewing, so please stay tuned. My goal is to hopefully launch the Kickstarter for my novel by spring of 2025. It will take a lot of work, but I cannot wait to share Argeth’s story with you all. He has been a character near and dear to my heart for nearly 15 years now.

In the meanwhile, I would like to share something new with you all, though I cannot promise it will be perfectly consistent. There are other stories I plan to tell, but there is one I want to share right here on this blog. It will be a novel that you, dear reader, will get to watch unfold chapter by chapter right here on my website. It will be unprecedented access to a raw story as it is written. This story is called Lamentations, a fantasy story set in a kingdom torn apart and barely holding together. Creatures of all shapes and sizes live in fear of inevitable war, but turn their hope towards two possible kings: the noble Jason, a man from another time, or the even stranger Lord Izren, a dark elf uniting the darker forces of the world.
